University of Alaska Anchorage

UAA is the final college that I will be "attending" I just filled out an application on the 14th... I am trying to study nursing school.. I want to be able to get my Associate's degree, and than my master's, than final would be Registered Nurse License (RNL) I will be trying to get my Associate's degree and be getting the training done for the full 2 year's of participating. I'm excited to move on with life and actually be going to College. I first started my goal when I was a member of the Aniak Dragon Slayers Volunteer Program. I had a lot of fun participating and running 911 calls and turning fires out. I really thought it was a really great Fire Department to be doing training there for 6 hours a week. The E.T.T. Training is 120 hours, and I've passed and got a proficient score. I need to get mine renewed just in case because it expired a while back. That's my future goals for now. I'm done filling out the UAA application, now I just have to do housing and that's going to be done soon. Cross your fingers and hope I get accepted. :)

Christmas Break

I had the most fun Christmas break ever because I got to get closer to my nephew and family. It was all about having fun with friends and getting a break from homework. I didn't know what else to do over Christmas Break so my Boyfriend Joe and I went to Chuathbaluk just to get away and go have fun in the deep snow in the Tundra. I also wanted to get started with re-ranging my room and just to keep my room nice, clean, and organized. Also I've seen many moose, calf's, and cow's around here in Aniak. The cow in the picture was about 10 feet away from my steps. It was so awesome watching it eat. While I was taking pictures of her, she looked at me and I got frightened. I felt chills up and down my spine because it was just watching me and I didn't know what to do.
Anywho, about getting close to my family, it felt great feeling the warmth of my nephews getting used to me. Also I knew that Dylan (The one who is in the picture) I got him to say "Auntie Jessa" It sounds so cute hearing him say that. It definitely made my day. I know it's exciting to watch your kids grow up, but it's also exciting to watch your nephews and neices growing up. (I have 2 nephews)
Also over Christmas break it was interesting hearing that all my grandparents, aunts, uncles, great-uncles, and great-aunts come up to Aniak for my graduation. Graduation is on May 2nd and I'm too excited to even see what is going to happen. That really made my day because I found out that most of my relatives are coming to watch me graduate. I grew up with most of my 1st and 2nd cousins. That's about it. Nothing really happened. :)
